Eastman Square and Round Dance Club recently hosted their Patriotic Dance with guest caller Ken Rittuci leading the evening’s fun. While the crowd may have been on the smaller side, the energy in the hall certainly was not — everyone in attendance had a wonderful time dancing, laughing, and enjoying great fellowship together.
A special highlight of the evening was a reunion between the Callerlab accredited calling coach and two former students, Carol Beebe and Brushy Mountain Squares’ own Fireball. It’s always special to see how square dancing brings people back together, no matter how much time has passed.
Ken Rittuci commented that Eastman’s hall is a beautiful place for dancing and deserves to be filled wall-to-wall with dancers. We certainly agree!
Not many photos were taken during the dance itself, so enjoy this candid shot captured while everyone gathered around the table chatting and visiting between tips.
Ken Rittuci also called at Little T’s in Lenoir City the previous evening. However, since this author was not in attendance, no notes or coverage can be provided for that dance.
